What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how CloudCopilot AI collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the website, create an account, generate architecture workspaces, or contact us about the product.

It is written for product users, customers, and visitors. It is meant to explain how CloudCopilot handles account data, project content, generated outputs, usage information, and billing-related information in the normal course of operating the service.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and basic profile details when you sign up or sign in.

We may collect workspace content that you submit into the product, including project names, descriptions, prompts, architecture requirements, constraints, and the outputs generated for your runs such as diagrams, Terraform drafts, CLI guidance, assumptions, risks, and cost estimates.

We may collect service usage information such as timestamps, page and feature interactions, plan and subscription status, request counts, error logs, device or browser context, and similar operational telemetry needed to secure, maintain, and improve the service.

If you purchase a paid plan, we may receive billing and transaction-related information from our payment providers, such as order identifiers, subscription status, invoices, and payment confirmation metadata. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers in the application itself.

How we use information

We use information to provide the product, authenticate users, create and manage projects, generate architecture outputs, maintain history across runs, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and support customer inquiries.

We also use information to improve reliability, understand feature usage, troubleshoot failures, monitor product performance, and refine the quality and safety of the service over time.

Where allowed by law, we may use contact information to send important account, billing, security, service, or policy notices. We may also send product updates or marketing communications, subject to applicable law and your communication preferences.

How information may be shared

We may share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the product, such as authentication, hosting, analytics, infrastructure, payment, and AI model providers, but only to the extent reasonably necessary for those services.

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect users, CloudCopilot, or the public from fraud, security incidents, misuse, or other harm.

If CloudCopilot is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments described in this policy or any updated notice that may apply.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

If you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in backups, logs, or financial and compliance records for a limited period where retention is reasonably required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for using the product in a way that does not intentionally expose confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information unless you have independently evaluated that use for your own obligations.

Your choices

You may be able to access, update, or remove certain account information through the product interface. You may also contact us with requests related to your personal information, subject to verification and applicable law.

If you receive optional marketing communications from us, you can typically opt out using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting us directly.

Children and policy changes

CloudCopilot is not intended for children under the age at which they may lawfully consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, please contact us so we can review the situation.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of the service after an update may be treated as acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
